Things we love about 113 Garden townhome: The location. It is a great start to the day to walk downtown to get a coffee and a pastry, then make a leisurely loop around McEuen Park playground and water park, along the Lake, and through shady lovely City Park fort playground before heading home. So convenient to walk to the beautiful library, to the shops downtown, to a hike around Tubbs Hill, to dinner at the resort! Bike trails are also close by, and biking by NIC campus out to Riverstone area is a fun excursion, as is a longer ride to Higgins Point. For a day trip, the Hiawatha Trail just over the Montana border offers a fun bike adventure. Be sure to reward yourself afterwards with a good dinner at one of the many excellent local restaurants. It is quite easy to take kayaks down to the lake and enjoy a sunny paddle along the lakeshore. Summer offers a wealth of activites, from art fairs to concerts in City Park, all within walking distance. And be sure to try the local Farmers' Markets, featuring fresh produce, homemade goodies, and guest musicians. The townhome itself. It is so comfortable for guests, with private en-suite bedrooms, and a nice terrace off great room to enjoy an evening glass of wine with a mesmerizing fire in the fire table. There is also a terrace off the master that offers a great view of Fourth fireworks with no crowds, no parking issues, and a quick step inside to snacks or to bed. Sitting in the great room in the cold weather is quite cozy with a fire going in the fireplace and a book in hand. The garage.
